Qualified Accountant Opportunities

Job Description

We are currently recruiting recently qualified accountants to work as Audit Seniors in our Audit & Accounting Team whose principal responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and completion of audit and accounting assignments across a portfolio of clients
  • Supervision and training of junior staff
  • Developing and maintaining strong professional relationships with existing and new clients
  • Assisting in continual improvement of audit processes to ensure compliance with relevant auditing standards.
  • Assist in the provision of financial and business consultancy services

Candidates should have the following attributes:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA or CPA qualified) with relevant audit experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, be a team player with the ability to build professional relationships with colleagues and our clients
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Maintain the highest level of professional standards in respect to client confidentiality and ethical behaviour
  • Independent; the ability to think critically, challenge when appropriate, and to apply professional scepticism
  • Strong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage work flows to meet client and reporting deadlines.

Graduate Opportunities

We are currently recruiting graduates to train in our ACCA Platinum accredited training practice.

Graduates will be offered a three-year training contract with the firm during which they will complete their professional ACCA exams. The successful candidate will receive extensive in-house training across all service lines and multiple sectors. This will ensure an excellent foundation for your future career, and our previous trainees have a strong track record of progressing to senior professional roles in practice and industry.

Candidates should have completed or be in their final year of a third level degree in Accounting or Business Studies and have the following attributes:

  • A commitment to developing their career as a professional accountant and to a process of continual learning and progression over the training period
  • Excellent communication skills, be a team player with the ability to build professional relationships with colleagues and our clients
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Maintain the highest level of professional standards in respect to client confidentiality and ethical behaviour

Salary and Package details

  • Competitive starting annual salary with an annual salary review completed based on performance.
  • The practice provides a Full study package to successful candidates. Our package covers: -
    • Tuition fees for professional exams and professional membership and exam fees
    • Generous paid study leave is provided for each exam sitting.

Start date details:

Trainee roles may commence immediately or after graduation in 2023.
